Inspiration for the soul...
What are some of your favorite self-care practices that help make you feel your best? Quiet time. I am someone who needs time alone in order to replenish, whether it's five minutes or five hours. I love to meditate, practice yoga slowly and intentionally, write or just sit outside at Echo Park Lake.
When do you feel the most beautiful? Wow, what a wonderful question. I'd say on a Sunday morning in jeans and Converse holding a bouquet of fresh flowers and my baby boy. Grounded in gratitude and the simple pleasures of life.
If you wrote a love letter to yourself (or body), what would it say? Thank you for leading me exactly where I'm meant to go.
Favorite affirmation... Life is unfolding right on time.
What is the most powerful way that being a foster mom has impacted the way that you walk through this world? Uncertainty has taught me to go all in. Nothing in life is guaranteed so we must live as boldly and wholeheartedly as possible.
Soulfulness” is one of your personal core values. How does this play into your life as a yoga teacher and wellness coach? Soulfulness is the essence and juiciness of life. I love learning about what lights a person up and challenges them. Soulful embodiment is at the core of all that I do, whether on the yoga mat or off of it.
Running an empowerment business with your best friend must be so much fun. How has collaboration played a key role in the success of your business? I learn so much from Jacki. We grow together and challenge one another which keeps our business authentic and alive.
